Weekend Fun in Red Bank – Four Must Visit Places

Over the weekend I visited Red Bank. Seriously, if you haven’t been to Red Bank you are missing out! Such a cute artsy town. There are so many fun things to choose from and there is something for everyone! Nightlife, restaurants, art, and shopping. No matter what you are looking for Red Bank has it. I toured Detour Gallery and then did some shopping. After I toured Detour Gallery I totally had to check out The Bee Boutique, Pickett & White, and West Elm. If you’ve never been to these places I’m going to tell you why you need to go right now.

First, I took a tour of Detour Gallery. Detour Gallery has been a part of Red Bank for about 5 months and let me tell you it’s amazing. Picture New York City art gallery but for your local viewing right in Red Bank.

Okay seriously? Who doesn’t want to snuggle up and watch Netflix right here?
Speaking of watching, please please please check out these videos from Detour Gallery with one of their featured artists, Holly Suzanne Radar. It will give you chills! Talk about a girl boss!

There are all types of shopping in Red Bank on Broad Street of every price range but if you’re looking for high end shopping The Bee is where you need to bee. (get it? bee?) Ok, ignore corny joke. The Bee offers “classic lines with a twist” says owner Kim Kiss who is a complete sweetheart. You have to go in and meet these ladies. They are amazing and so are the clothes.
Let me start by saying this fur parka coat by Parka NY is the first thing that caught my eye when I walked in. Eh he, GORGEOUS! In the words of Employee Kristin Silz, “It’s the hottest and most versatile coat.” and I have to agree. This coat comes in multiple colors and styles. If you’re wondering like I was, YES it does come as faux fur as well. It really is the hottest fur parka right now and it’s under $1,000 which is unheard of!

The Bee currently has three locations. They are located in Red Bank, Sea Girt, and Pt. Pleasant Beach. Keep your eye out for upcoming events The Bee is hosting in Red Bank like prom trunk shows in February.

You can shop The Bee online too!

P.S. They also offer juniors on the second floor if you didn’t know.

I also got to visit Pickett & White on Broad Street! This store is amazing! They really do have something for EVERYONE especially if you’re looking for a gift.

Pickett & White in Red Bank also offers customizations for your home with an in-house employee to help with all of your needs. You can also shop online!

I totally had to pick up the Buenos Nachos cook book. Buy it HERE.

Heads up! Everything is 40% in store until the end of January! GET THERE. I got this book for about $16 dollars. You know I like a good deal.

Last, but DEFINITELY not least…

Have you been to the new West Elm in Red Bank? Um, it’s amazing! There is so much to look and swoon over in this store. Did I mention there are two floors to explore? They have anything you desire for your home! West Elm has a knack for mid-century modern with a twist which is right up my alley! If you’re scared about big name furniture stores like West Elm, don’t be! They really do have something for everyone. Some of their pieces can be up there in price BUT they always have some sort of sale going on. They also have floor pieces for sale in store which are TOTALLY affordable. I saw a pretty coffee table for just over $100. We’re talking IKEA prices here people. They also have a ton of colors and pieces for Spring hitting the floors now. I never even knew that West Elm sold air plants and cacti. If you know me you know I am a crazy plant lady! Well, voila they’re at West Elm.

West Elm also offers in-house services and complimentary installs.
Um hello, do you see those gorgeous rugs in the back?

Thank you OMJ, Red Bank River Center, Detour Gallery, The Bee, Pickett & White and West Elm for a day of fun!

xx.
Cara
