Cabinet DIY: Giving Some Love to the Office with Walmart

I recently partnered with ColorPlace to give some love back to my home and I specifically chose my office to redo a cabinet to create some fun and organization . I used ColorPlace ULTRA Paint & Primer from Walmart for the cabinet and arch (pictured below). I’ve been working from home for a couple years but I figured this would be kinda inspiring and helpful to anyone who is working from home right now!

BEFORE

The photo above is the cabinet before-ish because I had already put on the feet and handle accidentally. The feet before those were taller and metal. Eek, lol. I ended up keeping the mirror on the cabinet and I’m glad I did.

Ultimately, I ended up keeping the mirror on the cabinet and I’m glad I did. I might add cane to it another time but I think it looks awesome in front of the pink arch. The cabinet feels really organized too with all of the baskets.

AFTER

Colors Used for Cabinet and Wall

ColorPlace ULTRA Paint & Primer was used for both colors (cabinet & arch). The pink color is Canyon Blossom and the white is Antique White. I used Minwax satin finish for both colors. I used regular painters tape to tape off the wall and mirror on the door.

Canyon Blossom

I added terrazzo contact paper from Walmart as well to cover the shelves. I think it added a really nice touch. It was SUPER easy to apply, just grab yourself a sharp razor!

Here’s another view above. You can see how it looks with the mirror. I love how it pops off of the pink! I hope this has inspired you a little bit to work on something fun and give back to your home! Check out the step-by-step instructions and the full project supply list here!

xx.
