I’m so excited to finally show you our backyard patio! If you only knew how long I left this table looking a hot mess. Actually, let me tell you… 3 years. What makes it even better is that I attempted to stain the set when I first got it but I left two of the chairs unstained. (Literally laughing out loud at myself) Thank goodness for World Market’s outdoor decor because I really felt inspired to get out there and fix it up. We bought this set for $50 at a yard sale three years ago and I finally got my butt out there to fix it up. HALLELUJAH! I think when it comes to decorating, you don’t need lavish items to have a beautiful home. We’re big into refinishing furniture and decorating in a way that is achievable for us and for all of my readers. That is one of the reasons why I love working with World Market. I think their items are beautiful, diverse, and achievable. I’m SO happy that World Market opened a store right near me in Shrewsbury! They have the perfect selection for outdoor living. Exciting.. but also dangerous!
We painted our table and 6 chairs white; (Frost by Behr). I wanted to give the decor a blank canvas because World Market has so many beautiful patterns and colors. We want to eventually get to painting the deck but with all the rain we got in New Jersey this past weekend we had to put it off. I have a ton of white walls and neutral decor inside of my home but when it comes to the patio I love a little bit of color. A little bit of color is perfect for a boho paradise!
After World Market Decor: MAGIC!

This season, sit back and relax with the help of Brandi Milloy. The Lifestyle Expert recommends prepping snacks at your self-serve table the day before, and using casual place settings and LED battery-operated candles for a timely glow. A dining table that’s pulled together before guests arrive and a nearby activity area for the young (and young at heart) help make summer entertaining a breeze. Watch and learn!
